# Blockchain Technology

Blockchain technology is used to record ownership of tokens and allow owners to use or exchange them without restrictions. 

IPFS is used to store the actual digital asset and ensure the asset cannot be changed without owner permission. 

The Graph Subgraph is used for indexing and querying data from blockchains, starting with Ethereum. It makes it possible to query data that is difficult to query directly.

The game is built on a fully on-chain unique solution, using EVM Compatible Smart Contracts. Two different blockchain protocols will be integrated into The Sacra: Falling of Myrd gaming stack: 

* ERC-20 for fungible tokens; 
* ERC-721 for NFTs.

The game is launched on the Polygon Mainnet. We are also planning to expand on other networks.
